Mary Marie Holloway, 88, of Terre Haute passed away in Union Hospital on August 3, 2014. She was born in Vigo County on September 1, 1925 to Leroy Myers and Fannie (Keegan) Myers. Mary worked for Chesty Food in packaging for 13 years. She was a member of Church of Living Faith in Prairie Creek, IN. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her Coxcomb flowers.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Chester “Chet” Holloway in 2007; her parents; her son Larisey Farrand in 1971; sisters Roxie McPheters, Helen Kable, and Rita Hammand; brothers Fred Myers, Scott Myers, Kenneth Myers, and John Myers. She is survived by her son Jimmy Farrand (Debra); daughter Nancy Darkis (Trever); grandchildren Lori Hood (Keith), Larry Farrand (Sandy), Jason Farrand, and Lynsie Farrand; great grandchildren John Rhoades, Zavata Farrand, Kyzak Farrand and Rodney Huber; step grandson Dwayne Hood Jr. ;great- great grandson Dale Eugene Rhoades; sister Ethel Hamilton and Shirley Vasques; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 1:00p.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery. Pastor Steve Marlow and Pastor Eddie Myers will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m.
