William Gene Hope (LottoMan), 67, of Terre Haute passed away in his residence on Wednesday July 30, 2014. He was born February 19, 1947 to Christina Passon and Elsworth Hope. He was married to his wife, Kim Hope, for 35 ½ years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and had been employed by Stran Steel for 17 years and Union Hospital for 33 years. He didn’t just work at the hospital; he cleaned it for the safety of those that were there. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 ½ years; Kim Hope, son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Ashley Hope, grandchildren; Dylan, Breylyne, Logan, Adahsyn, Ryleigh, and Pacey, loving in-laws; Tommy and Bonnie Jackson, Sharon Crabb, Kathy and Mark Bruce, Brian and Libby Cox, Red and Betty Cox, Karen and John Sampson, and John and Jean Cox. William is also survived by many other friends, family, and loved ones. Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday August 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th Street, Terre Haute with Father Matthew Malek officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland Indiana. Visitation will be on Monday August 4, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804.
