Cory Lee Thompson, 15, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord, Monday, Aug 4, 2014. He is the youngest son of Bradley and Susan (Crowley) Thompson. He was born July 22, 1999. He was a sophomore at Terre Haute South High School. Cory loved his visits with grandpa, was a master of all video games, and a caregiver of the family pets. The family will ever remember his affectionate nature and lovely smile. Like his father, he shared a passion for collecting unique items and enjoyed watching movies with his mom. Cory had a kind, sensitive soul that brought joy and laughter to all of his friends. He was preceded in death and now wrapped in the loving arms of his maternal grandparents Madonna (Drisko) and John K. Crowley; paternal grandmother Patricia (McMurray) Thompson; aunt Carol (Thompson) Farrand. He is survived by and will forever remain in the hearts of his loving parents; brother Forrest Eli Thompson; paternal grandfather Forrest Donald Thompson, grandmother Patty Thompson; aunts Rhonda (Crowley) Fulford, Joan (Crowley) Lacey, and Joan Thompson; uncle John K. Crowley Jr., wife Diana, Brian Crowley, Ray Thompson, Robert Thompson, Noel Prichard, and John McMurray; cousins Brook, Joey, Chris, Stevie, Mike, Jonathan, Madonna, Thomas, Tiffany, Alan, Josh, Carrick, Makala, Morgan, Scott, Brian, Rhonda, Chad, Tanna, Penny, Gina, Stephanie ,and Larry; many more extended family, Donny Crowley; and good friends Suzanne and Tim Clark.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Allen Farmer will be officiating funeral services at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will follow services at the funeral home on Saturday and begin at 11:00a.m. in Saint Margaret Mary ‘s Church, 2405 S 7th Street. Father Rick Ginther will be officiating. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.
