Kelli Jo Jeffers, 45, of Terre Haute, Indiana, unexpectedly passed away March 2, 2016. She was born July 28, 1970 in Paris, Illinois to Darrell Simons and Lynna (Miller) Simons. Kelli was a member of Bell Rich Christian Church and a former member of the International Order of Job’s Daughters. She loved to bake and cook and would often say, “if you leave this table hungry, its your own fault!” If you were hungry, she would feed you and always took people in, that were in need. Kelli put others happiness before her own. She loved to fish, hunt, deer watch, mushroom hunt, and just be outdoors. Kelli is preceded in death by her parents; son Nathaniel Jai Phillips; and brother Gregory L Simons. She is survived by her husband of ten years Paul Jeffers; children Adenike Adeshina and companion, Quasim Chambers, Jordan Phillips, Olivia Phillips, and Madison Jeffers; siblings Jeff Simons of Kansas, Illinois and Dawn Staley, and her husband David of Clinton, Indiana; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Robert and Deborah Baker, Troy Fagin, and Tabby Bachelor; fishing buddy, Bill Linton; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday March 10, 2016 from 6-8pm ET at the Gospel Tabernacle Apostolic Church, 2900 Washington Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47803. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are being accepted for the benefit of her young children and funeral expenses. The family has entrusted Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804 with care and arrangements.
