Janet Lee Halberstadt Mann, 52 of Farmersburg, passed away at 10:30 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Springhill Village. She was born in Sullivan County, IN on February 15, 1963 to Max Leon Halberstadt and Beulah Miller Halberstadt. Janet is survived by her mother Beulah Halberstadt, son Joshua Mann (& wife Kim), and daughter Ashley Mann, and her fiancée Mark Inman. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Emilee, Thomas, Gabriel, Kendra, Isabelle, Alexis, and Levi. Also surviving is her brother, Edward Halberstadt (& wife Doris), and two sisters; Sue Saucerman and Rita Drake (& husband Harley), as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Max Halberstadt in 2011. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Kevin Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Pogue Cemetery at Fairbanks, IN. Visitation will take place at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, in her memory.
