Penny Lee Conley, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday February 19, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Penny was born September 30, 1951 in Terre Haute to Bobby Glenn Reese and Margaret Davis Reese. Penny worked at Covered Bridge Special Education District, she covered Vigo County in her work but primarily worked at Terre Haute South Vigo High School. She was a long time member of Cross Tabernacle Church in Terre Haute and attended The Life Center. She had worked in the catering and floral industry for over 30 years and formerly owned Penny’s Bouquet’s in Terre Haute. She loved catering and planning weddings, especially those of her children and family. She was known as a great cook which she loved to do. She felt she had a special calling to help underprivileged and children with special needs. Penny we preceded in death by her father, Bobby Glenn Reese. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Davis Reese of Terre Haute, one daughter, Amy Lee and her husband Tom of Terre Haute, two sons; William “Rich” Conley and Bobby Conley, both of Terre Haute. She is also survived by grandchildren; Payton Conley, Madison Lee, Maelyn Lee, Macklyn Lee, Kendyl Stevens and Dyln Stevens. She is survived by an aunt, Eleanor Wilfon and special friends, Stewart Williams, Seth Andrea and Rick Conley, friend and father of her children. Memorial Services are Monday at 7:00 p.m. at The Life Center, 3000 College Ave., Terre Haute, IN., 47803. A gathering for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until service time. Stewart Williams will be officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include; Fred Wilson, Ryan Stevens, Eli Wingler, Danny Newton, Luke Astby and John Agnew. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Life Center or The American Heart Association.
