Florence E. Chandler, 99, of Terre Haute passed away Friday November 16, 2012 at 3:50 am in Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Florence was born September 11, 1913 in Charleston, IL to Frank Siders and Alice (Phipps) Siders. She is survived by a nephew: Larry Wilson and his wife Sandy of Terre Haute; nieces: Carol Laycock of Terre Haute and Sonja Evelo and husband Skip of Tallahassee, FL; great nieces and great nephews and other family members. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lowell T. Chandler who died in 1986, a sister: Blanche Updegraff, and 2 brothers: Jimmy Siders and Harry Siders. She attended 20th and Hulman Wesleyan Church and was a hard working and dedicated woman who was a very kind and giving person. Graveside services will be Tuesday November 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Roselawn Memorial Park with Reverends Harvey Weaver and Dan Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. There is no visitation. DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. is in charge of arrangements.
