Margaret Lucille Dietz Hanley, 83 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:00 AM on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Springhill Village. She was born in Terre Haute on February 21, 1931 to Hubert Dietz and Dorothy Hunter Dietz. Margaret retired from the Admitting Department at Hamilton Center. She is survived by her husband A. Robert Hanley—whom she married April 2, 1966. She is also survived by her brother, Larry H. Dietz, Sr. (& wife Pam), and her sister, Sheila Fagg (& husband Fred). Other survivors include her nieces and nephews; Sheri Ring (& husband Ed), Cathie Bryant (& husband Steve), Gary Fagg (& wife Laura), Larry H. Dietz II (& wife Chris), and LaRysa Orman (& husband Mic), as well as several great nieces and nephews and great -great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, La Donna Ring. Margaret was a member of Cross Tabernacle Church and was in the Directory of Who’s Who for Women in Business, and was past secretary for the Terre Haute Board of Realtors. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 8, 2014 from 11:00 AM -2:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
