Cooper James Toney, aged 2 months 28 days, passed peacefully in his parents’ arms at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis on July 19, 2014
Cooper is the son of Kyle and Lindsay Toney of Terre Haute. He is the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. He arrived on April 21, 2014, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. During his time on earth, he enjoyed cuddling with his parents, listening to music, going for walks, being read to, sucking on his pacifier, and his always faithful friend, his dog Ramona. He was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed.
Cooper is survived by his loving parents, Kyle and Lindsay Toney of Terre Haute; grandparents, Donald and Brenda Toney and James Wiencken; his great-grandparents, Bob and Shirley Tucker, Hilbert and Grace Cook, Shirley Wiencken, and JoAnne Taylor; his aunts and uncles, Donny and Rachel Toney, Jordan and Alysha Kesner, Joshua and Sara Wiencken, and Andrew and Whitney Wiencken; his cousins, Jack and Ella Toney, and Charlotte and Maxwell Wiencken. He is also survived by friends and extended family who loved him dearly.
Cooper was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Donald Jack Toney Sr., Joseph Wiencken, and Kenneth Taylor.
Cooper was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Melanie Wiencken. We take peace in knowing that she is with our sweet Cooper until we can be together again.
