Eva L. Klotz, 104 of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2014 in Springhill Village after a brief illness. Eva was born in Springfield, IL to Alexander Kamees and Anna Nayphe Kamees.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her husband William Jennings Klotz whom she married in July of 1938, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, John A. Klotz and his wife Carolien of Terre Haute, three grandchildren; Michael Jon Klotz and his wife Lisa of Cloverdale, IN, Lori Michelle Hahn and husband David of Terre Haute, and Dr. Matthew Jason Klotz of South Pasadena, CA. Additionally, four great grandchildren also survive; Logan and Megan Klotz of Cloverdale, IN and Christopher and Kelsey Hahn of Terre Haute. Further, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and a special niece, Margie Logan and husband Al of Bargersville, IN, and special friends Peggy Lichtenberger of West Union, IL and Virginia Snyder of Terre Haute.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen with a memorial service in celebration of her long life on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rev. Rod Maris will officiate. Burial will follow. DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
