Ronnie Joe Hoffman, 56, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday June 28, 2014 in Signature Healthcare. He was born July 29, 1957 in Clay county, the son of Dugan and Jerry Hoffman. Ronnie had been a painter with Local 197 and also worked at Hoffman’s Body Shop. Ronnie enjoyed racing his cars and trucks at the Terre Haute Action Track, and also enjoyed playing pool in the APA Leagues for many years. He also enjoyed singing karaoke with family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Bobby Hoffman, two nephews; Max Peters, and Rob Patterson, and one brother-in-law; Dave Forbes. He is survived by his former wife and best friend; Marilyn Hoffman, on son; R.J. Londo and his children; Brittany, Andrew, Dakota, and R.J., two daughters; Kim Hancock and her children; Breanna, Jeffrey, Madison, and MacKenzie, and Leslie Hoffman and her companion Steve Reyher and her children; Michael and Braeton, two great grandchildren; Alexis Rankin and Brailyn Hancock, two brothers; Al Hoffman and his wife Wanda, and Jimmy Hoffman and his wife Misty, two sisters; Linda Forbes, and Vicky Casad and her husband Bob, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. He will also be missed by his many friends, including his little buddy; Christian Smith, who he called Ron Dog II. A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804 with Pastor Dawn Norman officiating.
