Demarcus Marsae Boswell entered the world on September 4, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois to the parentage of Dennis and Tamar Boswell. He was the sixth child out of nine children born to this union. Danielle (Eric), Dennis Jr., Demetrius, Deandre, Demeca, Derius, Decarion, and Destiny. Demarcus accepted Christ at an early age and he was a proud member of the Monument Faith Evangelistic Church under the leadership of Apostle R.D. Henton. He attended Hubbard High school. Demarcus had a contagious smile that exemplified his love for everyone. His swagg, charizema, and high fashion in clothing and jewelry acquired the trademark name “Da Famous Lil Markey.” Along with his nickname, Demarcus was often treated as if he were famous as well. He never left the house without his phone. He loved to take pictures, and people could not stop texting and calling him. His phone was his extra limb. Demarcus loved playing his favorite video game, Grand Theft Auto Five with his boyz Keywand and William. His other hobbies included listening to some of his favorite artists such as Chief Keef. Demarcus was a fierce competitor on the basketball court. He was inspired by one of his old legends, Michael Jordan, and an up and coming legend, Derrick Rose. While playing and making a jump shot, he would say “ya’ll ain’t sayin anything.” Yet his journey came to an abrupt end; he will always be remembered in the hearts and soul of his relatives. Demarcus always demonstrated love through his relationships with all of his siblings, family and the Fly boys clique. Demarcus made his transition from this earthy life on Thursday, June 19th 2014.
