Dorothy Colleen Watts, 83, of Farmersburg passed away June 16, 2014, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Sullivan County on July 4, 1930, to Wilbur D. Stevens and Beulah A. Riggs Stevens. She was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. She had formerly attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her interests included antiques, auctions, and Southwestern United States Indian artifacts and history. She was known as a wonderful cook and for many years was involved with Sullivan County Absentee Voting and Registration. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Watts, in 1988, her brother Wilbur ‘Bill’ Stevens and a sister Roseanna Rooksberry. She is survived by her daughter Melinda Bullock and her husband Frank; her son Monte Watts and his wife Nancy; two sisters Reah Lininger and Helen Hooley and her husband Carl; a brother Robert Duane Stevens. Her grandchildren are Andy (Laurel) Bullock, Erin (Barry) Trowbridge, Amy (Jason) Lambert, James Watts, and Brady (Ashley) Watts. Her great-grandchildren are Kinsey Bullock, Trace Bullock, Carter Trowbridge, Gracie Trowbridge, Sophia, Oliver, and Henry Lambert. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 21, 2014, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel at 11 a.m. with Revs. Don Ransford and Larry Gillaspy officiating. Calling hours are on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery.
