Randy R. Readinger, 61, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in his residence. Randy was born on January, 13, 1953 in Terre Haute, to Jack Readinger and Betty L. Verostko Readinger. Randy retired from the City of Terre Haute as a building inspector and also was a retired member of the Bricklayers Union. Randy was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church, was an avid golfer, and strong supporter of his friends in the political parties of the area. As a young man, Randy enjoyed to travel to places such as Alaska, Hawaii, and Tahiti. He also loved to socialize with his close friends sharing stories an many meals together. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother; Ron Readinger, and his wife Cindy of Terre Haute, nephews; Nathan, Wesley and Jordan Readinger, and great nephew; Jack Readinger, many cousins, and a group of very close friends. Services for Randy will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the America Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
