Keaton Sawyer Freihaut, three months old, passed away Saturday February 8, 2014. Keaton was born in Danville, IN., on November 3, 2013 to Cory Freihaut and Courtney O’Brien Freihaut. Keaton loved to smile and play with his brother and sister. Keaton was a very happy baby. Keaton is survived by his parents of Terre Haute, his brother Cameron Freihaut and sister Kerrigan Freihaut, both at home. He is also survived by Maternal great grandparents, Frank and Rita Spittler; Maternal grandparents; Jerry and Penny O’Brien of Terre Haute. Paternal grandparents; Sally Freihaut of Evansville, IN., and Jim and Vickie Freihaut of Lamar, IN. Keaton is also survived by loving aunts and uncles; Charlie and Whitney Manwarring of Terre Haute, Derek and Tonya Freihaut of Bloomington, IL., and Jamie and Melissa Freihaut of Gentryville, IN. Keaton is survived by cousins; Addie, Carter, Wyatt, Holden, Noah, Dalton and Nathan. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Kimberly Freihaut and great grandparents; Jerry and Rosemary O’Brien. Funeral services for Keaton will be held on Thursday February 13, 2014 at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral Home. That family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The Trappist Monks at New Melleray Abbey in Peosta, Iowa, who graciously provided a hand made wooden casket for Keaton. The Trappist Monks provide hand made wooden caskets for any child that has passed away at no charge. Friends and family are also welcome to make contributions to either S.I.D.S or the charity of their choice, envelopes for all will be available at the Funeral Home.
