Marline K. Reel, 69 of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:58 PM in Signature Healthcare. She was born in Terre Haute on November 21, 1944 to Fred Sutherland and Laura Morris Sutherland. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harold E. Reel, one son Terry L. Reel and wife Lynda, and one daughter, Amanda Reel-White and husband David. Also surviving is one brother, Robert O. Sutherland and one sister, Lilly May Lawson. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren; Timothy Lloyd Swank, Jr., Ashley Dawn Reel, Rodney Andrew Reel, Dusten Ray Reel, Elizabeth Catherine Reel, Samantha Aaron Reel, and Allen David White, as well as two great grandchildren, Lilee Reel and Korben Lloyd Swank and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Laura Sutherland, one son Virgil Allen
Reel, two brothers James L. Sutherland and Donald R. Sutherland, and her twin sister, Darlene Fay Sutherland. Marline loved to collect frogs. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Paul Burress officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
