Shirley J. Hill, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday December 5, 2013 in Union Hospital. Shirley was born on June 14 1931 to Roland Irish and Corletta Bartlett Irish in Glens Falls New York. She was retired from Columbia House. She enjoyed painting, reading and especially loved music and was an accomplished violinist. She is survived by her Husband, Gerold Lee Hill of Terre Haute, one son, Robert Hill and his wife Michele of Terre Haute, on brother, Roland Irish Jr., and his wife Carol of New York and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Candice Hill in April of 1967. Cremation has been chosen with a Celebration of Life at a later date. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
