Edwin Deloss Buell Jr. 62 of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born January 31, 1951 to Edwin Deloss Buell Sr. and Vera M. Buell in Laporte, IN. He served for 37 years with ACM International Mission with his latest service being as a missionary in the Democratic Republic of the Congo under Heart for Central Africa. He is survived by his wife Brenda Buell, his children John Buell (wife Kerry), Matthew Buell, Scott Buell (wife Andrea), Jennifer Buell and his five grandchildren, Peyton, Brady and Cole Buell, Eden Atterson, and Anna Belle Berryman.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday August 15, 2013 at 11:00a.m. at Maryland Community Church, 4700 S State Road 46. Pastor Vince McFarland will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. , and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Edwin’s wishes were to be cremated; the family is honoring his request. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions can be sent to Heart for Central Africa for Tracy’s Heart in lieu of flowers.
