Milton Steele Williams, 78, of Terre Haute passed away at his residence on July 30, 2013. He was born on February 19, 1935 to Kenneth C. Williams and Irene H. (Lee) Williams. Milton served in the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of VFW #972, and a former member of Youngstown United Methodist Church. As a hobby, Milton provided blue bird houses around Vigo County, for his enjoyment, and for others to enjoy as well. The students at Dixie Bee Elementary enjoyed these for several years.
Milton is survived by his wife Reba Williams; siblings Max Williams, his wife Mary Ann of Rosedale, Jerry Lee Williams, his wife Brenda, Linda Tewell, her husband Enoch “Butch”; sister-in-law Joyce Williams of Brazil; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry K Williams.
In honoring Milton’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. Private family graveside services will be scheduled for a later date at Hull Cemetery. The family has entrusted DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive, with arrangements.
