Betty I. Trueblood, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday October 23, 2012 at 7:10 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Betty was born June 24, 1927 in Vigo County to Rueben Milner and Dorothy (Bedwell) Milner. She is survived by a daughter: Peggy Grubb and her husband Russell of Terre Haute; a brother: George Milner and his wife Anna Mae; daughter-in-law: Patty Trueblood of Terre Haute; sister-in-law: Shirley Jones of Burnham, IL; 4 grandchildren: Ronnie Trueblood, Jr. and his wife Nita of Terre Haute, Darrell Trueblood and his wife Belinda of TN, Sara Grubb of Terre Haute, and Mandy Fowler and husband John, Jr. of Fort Bragg, NC; 7 great grandchildren: Heather Trueblood, Tyler Trueblood, Jeremy Funk, Michael Funk, Taylor Trueblood, Mason Grubb, and Bryce Fowler; a special friend: Dawn Miller and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Doyle L. Trueblood, who died September 3, 1981, her parents, a son: Ronald L. Trueblood, Sr., a brother: Richard Milner, and 2 sisters: Donna Williams and Helen Campbell. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching birds, reading and working crossword puzzles. She really loved spending time with her family especially the great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday October 26, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr., with funeral services on Saturday October 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Kevin Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (envelopes will be available at the funeral home).
