Bette Kane Fussman Todd passed away peacefully at Springhill Village on May 24, 2017. She was born to Joseph Kane and Eleanor Ford Kane, on July 28, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pa. Bette met and married the love of her life, William John Fussman Todd, who preceded her in death; and had five children, Barbara Ann Dugan (Joseph), William John Fussman Jr., Richard Todd (Rhonda), Ronald Todd (Julie), Cheryl Lynn Good. Bette also has nine grandchildren, Jenny Goldhahn (Larry), Ryan Dugan, David Todd (Theresa), Derrick Todd, Michael Todd (Miranda) Lauren Kelsheimer (Aiden), Lydia Good, Easton Good and Kelly Fussman. She also has nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation to Springhill Village and their staff that loved and took care of Bette for the last few years. In addition, many thanks to Hospice, Heart to Heart staff that was with Bette in the last few days. There will be private family services at a later date. Mattox-Wood Funeral Home took care of final arrangement. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to Heart Hospice, 4529 S. 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN, 47802.
