BRAZIL [mdash] Robert L. Morris, 80, of Brazil, passed away at his home, May 24, 2017, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Clay County, on July 26, 1936, the son of Lee and Mildred (Curtis) Morris. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1955. Bob served his country in the United States Army from 1959 through 1961. He married Leona Young on Oct. 5, 1968. Bob worked at Alcan in Terre Haute, for 29 years. In his free time he enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, tending garden and mushroom hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Doretta Morris. Bob is survived by his wife, Leona Morris; his son, Rob Morris; nephew, Jason Morris and wife Jenni; and great-niece and nephews, Josh Morris, Julie Morris, and Jackson Morris. Services will be at French Funeral Home, Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
