Linda Kay Brown was born May 20, 1950, in Terre Haute, to Robert Brown and Shirley Bailluel Brown. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on the afternoon of May 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her younger sister, Della. She is survived by her three siblings, Robert Brown and Elizabeth Asay of Terre Haute, and David Brown and his wife Mimi of Robinson, Ill.; four nieces; and one nephew. She was a member of the Free Life Community Church; nothing made her happier than to be with her friends at church and worship the Lord. She truly felt at home there. Linda had ties to the West Terre Haute Assembly of God church as well. Linda's favorite show was "Days of Our Lives." She loved the Boston Red Sox, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cardinals, but watched sports whenever she could. Monday night was wrestling night to her and she was glued to the TV whenever John Cena appeared. Linda was a devoted Coca-Cola drinker and collected the merchandise, especially watches. The visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, and the funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m., with Linda's minister, Pastor Bob Rost, presiding over the funeral service.
