Mark E. Sprouls, 59, of Terre Haute, died at 5 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born July 25, 1957, in Huntington, to Bob R. Sprouls and Betty Maudlin Sprouls. He had worked at Ivy Hill as a printer. He was a member of Abate of Indiana and the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Sprouls; and one great-niece, Sydney Reel. He is survived by his wife, Cristina Hallett Sprouls of Terre Haute; one son, Dillon and Heather Moss of Terre Haute; stepdaughter, Rachel Moss of West Terre Haute; one sister, Vanessa and Gary Payton of Clinton; sister-in-law, Kathy Sprouls of Clinton; "The other mother," Velma Shannon of Clinton; two nieces, Amy McMullen and Libby and Jeff Reel; one nephew, Randy Payton; two great-nieces, Addison and Kelsy Reel; and three great-nephews, Hayden Reel, and Cooper and Spencer McMullen. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at Frist Funeral Home and from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor John Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery near Fontanet. Online condolences may be made at:
