Wilma Ellen Pounds, 86, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away March 13, 2016. She was born July 4, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Dorwin R. LaFollette and Ruby (Stephens) LaFollette Laney. Wilma was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed making afghans and quilts for her grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Pounds; two sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her children Linda Dean, and her husband Russell of Lynnhaven, Florida, Dianna Woodard of Terre Haute, Indiana, Kenilyn Trimmer and her husband Kenny of Lewis, Indiana; sisters Donna Shepard and Elner Hallitt; grandchildren Rusty Taylor, Jenny Lewis and her husband Robert, Michael Mullohill, Josh Dean, Stacy Bex and her husband Ryan, and Isaac Trimmer; step grandchildren Chrystal Trimmer and Danielle Trimmer; and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Pastor Dick Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00a.m. until service time.
