Julie Anne (Morris) McCoskey Lynch, 59, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away with her loving family by her side on February 14, 2016. She was born April 20, 1956 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles R. Morris and MaryLou (Nens) Morris. Julie was baptized and attended Oregon Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling to French Lick, playing golf with her mother on the weekends, Diet Coke from a styrofoam McDonald’s cup, watching Young and the Restless, American Idol, and the Voice. Julie worked for Laborers Union at the Training Center and she was a school bus driver for Northeast School Corporation for several years. She retired from Northeast School Corporation as the Secretary of the Treasurer. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Julie was an avid card giver, she often times spent lots of time looking in card shops for the perfect card. Julie’s favorite hobbies were her grandchildren and her K9 companion Sharpie. She spent a lot of her time, enjoying, watching her grandchildren play sports and participate in school activities. She was a proud grandmother and mother. Julie touched so many people lives, she will be missed dearly. Julie was preceded in death by her husband John Anthony Lynch on February 27, 2015; her father Charles R. Morris; and sister Tina Marie Morris. She is survived by her sons Scott McCoskey, his wife Heather, J.D. McCoskey and his wife Samantha; mother MaryLou Morris; stepsons Jack Lynch, his wife Heather, Daniel Lynch and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Mia McCoskey, Malee McCoskey, Jevan McCoskey, Jude McCoskey, and Jillian McCoskey; several step grandchildren and one step great grandchild; sister Debbie Malone and her husband Chuck; brothers Charles Morris, his girlfriend Kathy, David Ford and his wife April; nieces and nephew Molly Malone, Mandy Malone, and Ryan Morris; and many other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday February 18, 2016 at 12:00p.m. in Oregon Baptist Church, 11200 South Carlisle Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. Pastor Fred Harrison will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and also before services on Thursday from 10:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Hux Cancer Center. Pallbearers are Chuck Malone, Ryan Morris, David Ford, Jevan McCoskey, Jude McCoskey, and Charles Morris.
