JoAnn Kleptz, 87, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away November 11, 2015 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born May 5, 1928 in Sydney, Ohio to Walter Dean Henske and Elmina (Hinish) Henske. JoAnn was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She loved to travel, as she and her husband traveled to 48 states and 8 providences in Canada throughout their 66 years of marriage, often being on the road for three months or more each trip. JoAnn is survived by her husband Joseph Kleptz; sons Mike Kleptz (wife Patsy) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pat Kleptz (wife Joan) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Tim Kleptz (wife Karan) of Goshen, Indiana, and Dan Kleptz (wife Janet) of Terre Haute, Indiana; grandchildren Ben Kleptz, Jeff Kleptz, Joe Kleptz ( wife Angela), Kevin Kleptz (wife Jenifer), Brian Kleptz (wife Beth), Kyle Kleptz (wife Amber), Holly Phoenix (husband Adam), Kevin Kleptz (wife Ashley), Janice Bontrager (husband Bryson), Michelle Davis (husband Bobby), and Michael Hollis (wife Ginny); 14 great grandchildren; and sister-in-laws Margie Gallian (husband Bob) of California, Arlene Kleptz of Ohio, and Judy Kleptz of Vermont. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Shirley Yhanke; and brother Ray Henske. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, November 16, 2015 at 12:00p.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2322 North 13th 1/2 St, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Father Bernie LaMontagne will be residing. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:00a.m. until service time.
