Clik here to view.Marketa J. Moody, 66, Mooresville and formerly of Terre Haute passed away at Indianapolis Methodist Hospital on July 27, 2015. She was born in Terre Haute on January 10, 1949 to Mary Lou (Richmond) Fields. She had retired from quality control at Columbia Records after 23 years. Marketa was a very amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Body of Christ Church. Her survivors include her husband of 49 years, Hans ‘Fred’ Moody; two daughters Michelle Y. Moody and fiancée David Ten-eyck of Virginia, Sherri N. Morley and fiancée Josh Mitchell of Mooresville, and Sarah Jumps who she thought of like a daughter of AK; brothers Bill Moody and Judy of Farmersburg, Jack Moody and Martha of Staunton, John Moody and Pam of Avon, Mickey Moody and Jean of Terre Haute, and Lonnie Moody and Wanda of Seelyville; sisters and best friend of 56 years Gilda Atterson and Chuck of Terre Haute and Selstia Light and Alvie also of Terre Haute; four granddaughters Amanda Phillips, Kelli Pitts, Briona Morley, and Kylae Morley; three great-grandchildren Heidi’ Beth Phillips, Damien Phillips, and Brian Ford. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother George Moody, father-in-law and mother-in-law Earl and Violet Moody, and nephew Tyler Jackson. There are many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. on July 31, 2015 beginning at 6 p.m. with Rev. John Moody officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until services at the funeral home. Keeping with her wishes cremation has been chosen.
