Diana L. Manning, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday May 7, 2015 at 8:03 p.m. in Union Hospital. Diana was born November 20, 1944 in Terre Haute. Her parents were Cecil King and Josephine Haynes Catterson. Diana had worked for Columbia Records and Woodburn Graphics. Diana enjoyed crocheting plastic bags, reading, and spending time outside working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, John Manning and his wife Michelle, of Terre Haute; daughter, Michele Stephens of Fullerton, California. Diana is also survived by brothers, James King of Terre Haute, and Paul Catterson and his wife, Jodi, of Montpelier, Indiana; sisters, Jo Catterson and her husband, Ramone, Sheila Strong and her husband, Marvin, all of Terre Haute, and Teresa Cannady and her husband, John, of Marshall, Illinois; grandchildren, John Manning Jr. and his significant other Scott Chaffin, Rachael Manning, Melanie Stephens, and Nathan De La Cruz, along with many nieces and nephews. In honor of Diana’s wishes cremation was chosen. A private family service will be held at a later date.
