Larry P. Chatman, 59, from Hillsdale passed away April 16, 2015. He was born October 16, 1955 in Terre Haute to Norma Jean (Gosnell) Chatman and Paul E. Chatman. They have preceded him in death. He started working at Kirkham Hardwood and has worked for Eli Lilly for the past 37 years.. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Fields) (Matherly) Chatman, his son Paul Jason Chatman, and his daughters Kristen Chatman and Karie Chatman (Josh Saurbeck), and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Sandra K. Beaman, Rebecca S. Chatman ( Noel Johnson), and Carolyn J. Wilson and her husband Harry. He has one brother, Garry Chatman. Larry was a softball coach, part time Vermillion County Deputy Sheriff and electrician. He loved fishing, watching Nascar, bowling, and always put others first. Memorial services will be on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 5 p.m. in DeBaun Springill Chapel with Rev. Dan Gormong officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 3 p.m. until service time.
