Christopher Michael Trench, 30 of Terre Haute, IN died April 11, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born on November 6, 1984 in Ft. Pierce , FL to Michael D.  and Elizabeth “Lisa” Hubbard Trench.   Christopher graduated from Indiana State University in 2008 from the Honors Program with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Criminology.  He was a  member of the National Scholars Honor Society .  He had previously worked as a skills counselor.  Christopher was a devoted and loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend.  He was an avid reader and was fluent in German.

Learning was his passion and he was able to converse knowledgably on virtually any topic.  He could relate to persons from all walks of life and he never met a stranger.

He could often be found sporting his black leather jacket and favorite cabbie hat.

He was a proud member and councilman of “The Woods Boy’s” House Roosetain.

Christopher has always given generously of himself, often putting the needs of others above his own.  Continuing his legacy of selflessness, through his final act as a tissue donor, he will live on and will help improve the lives of countless people.

He was a strong man with a beautiful brain, a wicked sense of humor, and a kind heart.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

Christopher is survived by his parents, Michael D. and Elizabeth “Lisa” Hubbard Trench of Terre Haute, IN, his sister, Victoria Trench Dreher (Trevor) of Terre Haute, IN, his brother, Beau C. Kitchell (Misty) of Terre Haute, IN.  Also surviving are his grandmothers, Marjorie A. Trench and Gertrude J. Hubbard (William McCarthy), uncles, Dr. John L. Trench lll , David M. Trench (Lorrie), Paul E. Trench (April), Jason W. Hubbard and Adam B. Hubbard , cousins, John L. Trench lV, Ryan A. Trench, Austin J. Trench, Samantha M. Trench and Tyler A. Trench.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers John L. Trench Jr. and Warren H. Hubbard.

Christopher was an organ and tissue donor.  Cremation has been chosen and the family requests donations to a favorite charity or organization of choice in Christopher’s name if so desired.
