John Michael Bays, 67, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away April 15, 2015 in his residence. He was born September 17, 1947 to Warren Bays and Alma Louise (Loughner) Bays. He owned Johns Mower Repair for 20 years. He was a good man who loved life, fishing, telling stories, and talking. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Bays. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 26 years Donna (Lende) Bays; sons John Bays II, his wife Shannette, David Bays, and Jason Bays; daughter Tina Bays; brother Warren Bays, his wife Claire; sister Becky Malone; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a family of in-laws that loved him very much. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Pastor Dustin Spitler will be officiating.
