Lillian Keegan, 95 of Terre Haute passed away February 10, 2015. She was born April 6, 1919 to the late Elisa Jefferson Morse and Hester Ann Morse of Ozark Arkansas. Her husband Herman Lester Keegan preceded her in death September 1978. Her beloved granddaughter Kristen Sue Blair died at the age of 22 in a car accident March 14, 2004. Lillian was the last of her 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter Sandra Kay Keegan Fridwall of California, Karen Sue Keegan Blair of Terre Haute and her son Jeffrey Allen Keegan of Plainfield, IN. Lillian had 6 grandchildren- Michelle Keegan Simmons, Brooke Keegan, Jason Blair, Desiree Blair Gregg, Michelle Blair Loudermilk and Kristen Sue Blair. She had 16 great grandchildren- Kelsey Keegan Grigsby, Bryar Simmons, Ashlynn Simmons, Abigail Loudermilk, Marlee Loudermilk, Amelia Loudermilk, Chase Loudermilk, Cruz Loudermilk, Kendall Gregg, Lincoln Gregg, Scarlett Gregg, Fenton Keegan, Gracie Keegan, Isla Blair, Callum Blair and Eric Blair and lots of nieces and nephews.
Lillian retired from Indiana State University after 25 years as a supervisor in food service. She was a long time member of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church and was also a member of the First Baptist Missionary Society of Prairie Creek.
Most importantly the love of her life was her family and all of her grandchildren which kept her young at heart. Her faith was strong and she enjoyed her long life with good health until the end of her days which she fought with a smile until it was time to go home with The Lord. For that we will always be thankful.
Visitation will be held at Debaun Funeral home, Springhill, Saturday from 10:00-12:00 followed by funeral service at 12:00 pm. Rev. Kevin Dobson will officiate. Burial at New Harmony Cemetery. Online condolences can be madea t www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
