Harold R. Fuson, 81, of Riley and formerly of Fairbanks, IN passed away November 20, 2012 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1931 in Wayne County, IN to Rev. Cecil and Susa (North) Fuson and they have preceded him in death. He retired in 1994 from Columbia Records after 29 years of service. Harold was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, member and past master of Riley Masonic Lodge F&AM # 390 and Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute where he had been presented the meritorious service award. He was also a member and past master of the former Fairbanks Masonic Lodge F&AM # 373 and was an honorary member of several Masonic lodges throughout the Wabash Valley. He was an avid euchre player who also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, coaching Little League baseball, and gardening. He was known to be a very determined person who inspired others with his strong work ethic. His survivors include his wife Rosemary (Harris) Fuson, three daughters Linda K. Richey and husband Dale, Jan E. Came and her husband Todd, and Sandra J. Freeman and husband Charlie; three sons Steven R. Fuson, David J. Fuson and his wife Marilyn, and Kevin D. Fuson and wife Candy; one sister Dorothy Cox and many other extended family members. He has 12 grandchilden and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Judy (Siner) Fuson, a great-grandson Patrick Fuson, and a brother Eugene Fuson. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Revs. Don Ransford and Ron Riggs officiating. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with Masonic memorial services at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Pogue Cemetery near Fairbanks.
