Frieda M. Whitlock, 86 and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away at 5:25 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville, IN. She was born in Vigo County on September 1, 1928 to Frederic B. Price and Mammie E. Hartley Price. Frieda had previously worked at both CBS and the Vigo County School Corporation. She is survived by her children; Clara Herman, Frederick Carlisle, George Robert Carlisle, Jeffery Carlisle, James Carlisle, Annetta Sanders, and Charles William Carlisle. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Whitlock, son Robert Bruce Carlisle, daughter, Carolyn Floyd, brother Lester Price and a sister Virginia Coleman. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday,
December 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
